Christmas can be a lonely time for young people living in supported housing, which is why we are asking for your help with our Christmas appeal.
For most people, Christmas is a time for giving and for helping others. Last year, we supported 167 young people living in our accommodation, who would otherwise be homeless. Please consider supporting our Christmas Appeal, whether you are a local organisation or someone just wanting to help, there are a number of ways that you can get involved:
- Give a present to a young resident. Our appeal is your chance to donate a present to one of our residents, something small to the value of about £5. For many of our young people this will be the only thing they will receive this year. Presents should be wrapped and labelled male or female and should be non-alcoholic.
- Contribute food towards our Christmas meals. We will be providing traditional Christmas meals, as well as buffet type food, for our residents to enjoy in the run up to, and over, the Christmas period.
- Start a Christmas collection box at your organisation or community group and encourage others to help fill it with small presents for our residents and contributions of food for our Christmas meals.
- Make a donation. If you prefer not to give a present or food, but have been inspired to support our work, please make a donation online via out BT My Donate page, to help us do more. Simply click the image below and follow the instructions on screen.
