We believe that every young person should have a safe place to stay.

YMCA are largest provider of safe, supported accommodation for young people in England, providing just under 10,000 beds every night.

In Coventry and Warwickshire, we provide accommodation for local young people, aged 16-25 who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness 365 days a year. We have 3 housing projects in Coventry and 1 in Rugby which provide a range of support to those who live with us. Last year we supported 167 young people.

We know that people’s needs vary at different points in their lives and so everyone who lives with us is offered one to one advice and guidance to help ; build confidence, claim relevant benefits, find opportunities for personal development and build skills needed to live independently.

Applying for accommodation

Any young person can contact us directly to apply for accommodation, as can anyone working with them, although we do request that they know about the application and would like to apply. Although we can’t always provide accommodation, we will offer guidance in finding the right home for any young people in need.

We will need you to complete a referral form and this can be downloaded below and emailed back to housing@ymca-cw.org.uk. If you are unable to complete the form, or need help and advice with accommodation, please call 02476 597009.
