Andy Winter, Chief Executive

Andy has rejoined the Association after a 27 year break during which time he served as the Chief Executive of the YMCAs of Portsmouth and Wimbledon, was Operations Director, and then Director of Learning & Consultancy with YMCA England and then ran his own Training and Consultancy practice before returning to Coventry.

Anna Paterson, Housing and Resources Director

Anna moved to the West Midlands as a teenager and has been working since then in Housing across a variety of service types and organisations. At YMCA Coventry and Warwickshire, her role has responsibility for delivering a first-class housing service to young people across the region. She has two children and a constantly busy home!

Carole Claridge, Finance Manager

Carole joins us as Finance Manager in 2016. She comes with 9 years experience in the charity sector as financial administrator of the Coventry Jesus Centre. Prior to this, she worked as group management accountant in the corporate sector.  She has lived in Coventry since coming to study at the University of Warwick in 1990 and is married with four children.

Lisa Carroll, Fundraising Manager

Lisa has 9 years’ experience within this sector, working within Fundraising and Marketing roles. Previously she worked as a photographer for a regional daily paper.  Lisa’s role at YMCA Coventry and Warwickshire is to co-ordinate and deliver grant funding applications and develop an annual calendar of fundraising events. She is married with 3 young children and an ever-increasing array of pets.

Jennie Evans, Marketing and Communications Manager

Jennie has over 15 years of Marketing experience and has previously worked at Rolls-Royce plc, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and the British Red Cross to name a few. Jennie’s role at YMCA Coventry and Warwickshire spans all of the Marketing and Communications activity including website, social media and internal communications. She sees one of the biggest challenges as trying to get people’s understanding of YMCA and the work we do, to match their recognition of our name from THAT song!

Scott Neely, Programme Director

Scott has over 10 years of experience as a director within the charitable sector managing teams and forming strategic partnerships that provide opportunities for youth and community development. Originally from America, Scott played and later coached professional basketball in Europe. He is proud to call Coventry home with his wife and 3 young children.

Miranda Shieh, Human Resources Manager

Miranda Shieh manages all HR issues within YMCA Coventry & Warwickshire, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures. She joined YMCA 4 years ago after graduating from Coventry University with a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. Miranda previously worked as a registered nurse for 10 years at Heartlands Hospital Birmingham after training at De Montfort University in Leicester. She is married with 3 children.
