Volunteering with YMCA Coventry and Warwickshire offers a way for you to make a real difference to young local people’s lives, share skills, learn new ones and to meet new people. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities that all provide essential support to the work that we do with young local people.

We value all of our volunteers and ensure that they are supervised and supported during the time they spend with us. We want everyone to fulfil their potential and work at a level that recognises their training, experience and ability. Volunteers are required to provide two references and undergo a DBS check before they start with us and we provide training and reimburse travel expenses where needed for the role.

Our volunteering roles include, working with young people, office and administration, fundraising and marketing and training. We also have specific volunteer roles for people who like to take a hands-on approach at our YMCA Growing Communities project.

If you feel that you have even a few hours a week that you spend volunteering and would like to find out more about how you can get involved in our work, please contact Miranda Shieh, our Human Resources Manager on miranda.shieh@ymca-cw.org.uk or call 024 76 995212, she will be happy to help.
