Welcome to YMCA Coventry and Warwickshire

We have been working with local people for over 125 years, providing a range of supportive services and opportunities which are accessible, affordable and relevant. We provide support with housing when needed, advice, guidance and training to help with personal development and to find employment. We also offer opportunities to make a real difference to other people’s lives through regular volunteering and fundraising.

Watch our short film to find out more how you can get involved in the amazing work we do. We would love to hear from you.

Sleep Easy Katie
Every year we provide 22,645 safe nights sleep to young people in Coventry and Warwickshire who would otherwise be homeless.

But, for us, providing a roof over their heads is just the tip of the iceberg. We're working hard to help our residents build the future that they dream of.

At #SleepEasy17, our annual sponsored rough sleep, we raised a whopping £15,596.47. Our fundraisers came together, built make-shift shelters and helped to ensure that one night doesn't mean every night.

Over the course of the next few days we'll be sharing some video interviews with Sleep Easy participants to explore why they felt compelled to 'rough sleep' for one night, what the event was like and what they took away. Introducing Katie...

Did you know? The single biggest cause of youth homelessness is relationship breakdown.

We do all we can to help young people living at YMCA to rebuild links with family and, where possible, help them move back home. Unfortunately, this isn't always a reality so our staff are there to provide residents with the tools they need to live independently. #SleepEasy17 raised £15,596.47 to help us do even more of this.

Did you know? According to a recent study by Crisis a shocking 8% of 16-24 year olds in the UK are reported as bring homeless? That's why, once a year, we hold a sponsored 'rough sleep' to raise awareness, and much needed funds so that we can help young people re-write their story and realise their potential.
